Hello friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend celebrating Easter or Passover, as the case may be. We hosted my family here at our house and it was a wonderful afternoon.

We enjoyed Apricot Bourbon Glazed Ham along with cheesy hash brown potatoes, this fruit salad, green beans with a lemon cream sauce, classic deviled eggs, homemade challah bread, and two absolutely amazing desserts – Chocolate Flourless Torte (thanks, Mom!) and Lemon Heaven Bars.

My sister brought a bottle of Prosecco so we started the celebration with some delicious bubbly. (Always highly recommended!) And Joe played the perfect Easter Bunny by hiding chocolate eggs in some fairly inspired spots for his 5-year-old cousin, Miss Morgan.

All in all, a great day!

Challah bread is a favorite of mine … the recipe includes eggs and honey and it’s a delicious. I highly recommend the cookbook, Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes — it’s a game changer if you are one of those people (like me!) who is intimidated by the idea of making your own bread.
Classic deviled eggs – one of my faves! (I did dust these with paprika before serving but conveniently forgot to take a photo!)
Gerbera Daisies for the table.
A little appetizer of Ferndale Market Smoked Turkey and cheese – because if you know me, then you know I can’t just serve ham for the meal. That would be blasphemy! 😉
There has to be turkey somewhere!
Yummy Prosecco in my Grandma Doris’s gorgeous champagne crystal glasses!
Cousins! (We missed Audree, who had to work today – boohoo!)
Sisters! (We missed our sister-in-law, Dana, who was home sick with a nasty cough.
Feel better soon!
Grandma and Morgan!
My Girl Morgan!
This chocolate flourless torte … so good!
Lemon Heaven Bars … also so good!
And have you tried these new Reese’s Thins? Um, seriously addicting! 😉

And of course, I realized after everyone left that we should’ve gotten a group photo. We’re terrible about that!

I’m exhausted now so I’m going to call it an early night. Easter blessings to you and your family!

xoxo – Lara
