Current temperature in Minnesota as I write this:  41 degrees.

And raining.

While the moisture is welcome for farmers (and gardeners), I am not a big fan of these March-like temperatures. (Oddly, I think March was warmer than April. Go figure.) And it’s been like this all week.

But hope springs eternal, always, and it appears a warm up will start tomorrow, which will be welcome for the weekend.

And so we all look forward to Friday, right?

Random photos from the week, just for fun – and because I need some randomness in my life right now!

High Five for Friday | Herbs

My poor, poor herbs – relegated to the indoors until it warms up. Fingers crossed I can move them back outside this weekend!

High Five for Friday | Egg Labels

This is procrastination. What? You see eggs? I see a blog post about egg labels that I’m supposed to be writing for the American Farm Bureau Federation and due, umm, by the end of this month. Which is Saturday. Okay then.

High Five for Friday | LuLaRoe Dress

So let’s not talk about procrastination, shall we?  It’s much more fun to consider new dresses! This is a dress from LuLaRoe, which is a company that sells dresses and leggings and tops via consultants online and pop-up shopping experiences at home. My completely adorable friend, Erica, is a LuLaRoe consultant (her Facebook group) so I’ve been watching her Facebook sales every weekend until the right color combination spoke to me. And this one did. (And yes, I’m a dork because it matches my iPhone case.) Plus, it fits like a dream and is just so perfectly ME I can hardly stand it.

High Five for Friday | Turkey School

This is what happens when my son, Joe, has 30 minutes to kill at my office – home to the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association – after school. A giant empty white board + my creative/artist/writer son = comedic fun! I especially like the quote of the day by “Turkfucious” – “Gobble, Gobble, Gobble. Gobble, Gobble.” Yes, very deep. Although “Welcome to Turkey School – Don’t Chicken Out” is pretty funny too. After 20 years of professionally talking turkey, I can still enjoy a good turkey joke or two. 🙂

Watch this video of my niece, Miss Morgan, and tell me that you think this might be the cutest way to say Lucky Charms ever! Am I right?! And those big brown eyes, too! I can’t wait to see this little noodle this weekend – we’re headed to the farm for my other niece’s (Miss A!) confirmation on Sunday. Can’t wait to see everyone!

High Five for Friday | Wine Time!

Did I mention wine time? Why yes, I believe I did. Cheers, friends, to a fabulous weekend!
